The Grief Portal Women’s Retreat with Dani Hickman
The Grief Portal Women’s Retreat with Dani Hickman
April 16–19, 2027
The Grief Portal is a women’s retreat devoted to tending the many ways grief lives within us—not only through the death of someone we love, but through relationships and identities we’ve lost, unmet needs, life transitions, the parts of ourselves that haven’t known love, and the experiences we may not yet have words for.
Over three nights, we’ll create a trauma-informed space to explore grief and the emotions woven around it, including anger and shame, while tending to the younger and exiled parts of ourselves and listening to what the body has been holding.
Guided by trauma psychotherapist, Reiki Master, and grief ritual leader Dani Hickman, the weekend weaves together trauma-informed somatic practices, sacred circles, ritual, ceremony, nature, play, and community.
This is not a retreat about fixing your grief or forcing a breakthrough. It is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and experience what becomes possible when what we carry is witnessed and tended in community.
All gates of grief are welcome here.
